Jeff and I went on a 5-day Western Caribbean cruise with stops in the Grand Cayman Islands and Cozumel Mexico. It was a Bulwark & Seever family cruise.

The ship is loaded and we are awaiting departure.

We're moving! Derrick, Rochelle and Amy.

Shell & Derrick. Goodbye Florida! Hello Caribbean!

This was our ship. We spent three days at sea. We ate, rock climbed, swam, danced, exercised, watched movies and shows, relaxed, napped..... Great times.

Jeff rock climbing on the back of the ship.

The lower deck had a 1/4 mile running track. I loved running with the endless views of ocean. Our days at sea were warm and sunny and the lower deck offered some sun protection but was still open to the sea.
When we disembarked at the Grand Cayman Islands, we boarded this littles taxi boat to cary us over to the shore. The weather had turned a bit cloudy/rainy, so we weren't sure how our Sting Ray Bay and Snorkeling excursion would turn out. But we were HAPPY to be there and optimistic for good weather.

Grand Cayman Islands

We then boarded our excursion boat and headed towards Sting Ray Bay. It rained on the way out, but stopped for our snorkeling and sting-ray encounter. Perfect! Jeff didn't mind getting rained on but I stayed under cover.

It was wet, so we didn't get our camera out for pictures on the adventure, but we bought a video of us playing with the stingrays on the sand bar. Pretty amazing slimy creatures!

Back on the island for some lunch, shopping, and sight seeing. Jeff posing with a yellow submarine.

Pirates tried to take over our ship... but Jeff thwarted them off.

Cozumel Mexico
In Mexico we took a 3-stop, snorkeling trip with Adam & Hydee, Dan & Darci, and Scott and Stacy. We had a great guide that new all the places to go and the hiding places of some unusual fish.

Our guide found and speared three lionfish on our trip. The lionfish were unnaturally introduced to the the waters and are a threat to the marine animal life in this area. They are very poisonous with their venemous spines and have no known predators.
Dinners
We always look forward to dinner time. We were pampered. We ordered as we pleased, multiple appetizers, soups, main dishes, and desserts on a whim. They made us feel like royalty. After dinner, we went to shows, and dances... our favorite thing to do was to go Latin dancing in the centrum with a live band. Cha Cha Cha!
