Fishing Trip @ Tonto Creek: March 2011

We took the girls on a fishing trip for the day up at Tonto Creek.  It was a little cold... but not too bad.  Everybody caught at least one fish!

 

 

Ella the Princess

Grandma took Ella & Ava & Sage to the play "Sleeping Beauty", and ofcourse she had to dress up like a princess!

Volleyball with the Ladies

Just for fun...  we get together every Thursday night for some ladies volleyball.  Don't we look like professionals?

Ballet at the Library

 The BYU ballet team came to the Queen Creek Library for a free community peformance.  The girls, ofcourse LOVED it.  They kept asking... "Mom, are those real ballerinas?"  "Yes, they are sweetie!".  They performed a number of short dances some of which were cinderella, little red riding hood, and a dance of the seasons.

There were a couple of men in the show and one of them was wearing skin colored tights.  Kate shouted out... "He's all NAKEY Mommy!"  "Shhhhhhh!" I said, "He is wearing tights honey."  Those sitting around us had a little giggle.

Field Trips

Aubree's Field Trip
I went with Aubree and her 3rd Grade Class on a field trip to the Mesa Arts Center where we watched an orchestra perform, and narrator tell the store of Peter and the Wolf. It was a short field trip and were weren't aloud to take pictures inside, but I did get to ride the bus with her and be the chaparone of her group. After the field trip I stayed and we had lunch together.

Maya's Field Trip

I went with Maya and her Kindergarten class to "Superstition Springs Dairy Farm". Maya was so excited to go that she had trouble sleeping the night before! She was happy that I was able to be there with her as well.

We went on a hay ride and had a tour of the dairy farm.

We had flavored milk, then we were treated to icecream after lunch! It was delicious!
