My girls....

One of the many days my girls donned their princess attire....

Yes it is October... but that won't stop Ella from putting on her swimsuit and playing in the rain. To her, rain= swim-suit-time! We LOVE the rain!

It's My Birthday!

I had a wonderful birthday! Jeff spoiled me! He even slaved away in the kitchen to make me a delicious home-made Peaches-and-Cream Cake! Afterwards we took the girls to the local carnival... just a mile down the street at "The Barn". Forget DisneyLand! This place had absolutely NO LINES, and had more than enough rides to please my 4 children!

I can't tell you how many times we have driven by a carnival with the bright shining lights and tall ferris wheels tempting my children with the thought of participating in all that fun! Today their dream came true!

The "Pink Elephant" ride was the first one we attempted. I say attempted because it did NOT go well for 3-year-old Ella! She screamed in terror the entire ride. She wanted nothing to do with any of the rides thereafter.

Kate would have ridden the toddler cars all night... wait a minute... she did! She LOVED it!

Aubree's favorite was the Ferris Wheel.
The Giant Slide.
Maya finished off the last few tickets on a lone ride of the "Pink Elephant".

Ward Camp-Out

We had a great time at the ward camp-out with good food, good friends, good times, and dirty, dirty kids.

Kate just adored the Goff's dogs, while the Goff's just adored her. She didn't even mind the dog's slobbery kisses, in fact, she did her best to kiss them back. Ella, on the other hand, couldn't be in sight of them without climbing up my leg in terror.

We had a dinner of fire roasted Mediterranean tilapia, butternut squash and corn on the cob and a tomato bruschetta with naan for dipping. Then we joined the rest of the group for a variety of hot dutch-oven desserts. We all visited around the fire and the kids snuggled in blankets and watched a movie projected onto the side of the Booth's trailer.

The next morning we had a delicious hot breakfast, than spent the day hiking, creek playing and fishing.

There was a spot on the creek that was full of violet butterflies. I couldn't quite capture it on film... but it was a neat sight to see... to look around and see fluttering violet surrounding you.

Kate got into the creek so she hiked pant-less! Look at those cute squeezy legs!

Princess Maya Turns Six!!!

I can't believe she is six! Maya is a beautiful little princess that lives in her own world of wonderland, where everything is good and sweet and beautiful. She is a tender-hearted little girl full of goodness and love. If we could all see the world through Maya's eyes! Happy Birthday little sweetie!

Potty-Training Kate

Kate loves to go potty! Who knew it could be so much fun! She goes to the potty every time without fail as long as she is diaper-less.... or in her "nakey-nakes". Some more Kate lingo: pee is called pee pee, pew pew or stinky's and poo is called "yuckies".

Kate on her potty. And her wise older sister Ella on the right.

Kate was so proud of putting on her own panties (which are actually her 6 year old sister's)! We'll keep working on that one!

Happy Birthday Kate!

Kate turned two August 29th 2010! Happy Birthday little Sweetie! We had a little birthday party for her and grandma and grandpa Seever's house.

She just wanted to pick the candy off of the cake!
