They ate in Payson on the way up, and with mom not around.... their choice was KFC! It was Maya's first experience with KFC and she loved that chicken!
They arrived at their camping spot after dark and so finding a spot for the tent was not easy. Jeff found a large flat rock, and set it up there. It turned out to be a pretty neat spot.
