"Rocking On" at Oak Flats

We took the girls on their first official rock climbing trip in the Oak Flat campground area. We ate a picnic lunch, then hiked down a trail until we reached our climbing destination. The Farr family (part of them anyway) joined us for the adventure.

Jeff is setting up the kid's route. Aubree was the first climber and she rocked! She was a natural!

Maya was anxious to get the harness on and "rock on" too, but she couldn't figure out how to get up the first part of the climb. It's kind-of a tough start, especially for a 5-year-old!
