We love to go to the Scottsdale greenbelt for family bike rides. On this occassion, we picked up grandma great and biked 6 miles. Everyone had a great time and the weather was perfect.
Maya was weaving in and out of the center dotted line here. This is her last time riding with training wheels.
This is her first time withOUT training wheels! Go Maya!
And this is our family bike mechanic.
AND, because Maya did so well on her bike..... Jeff promised them that they could buy something from the "icecream truck" when it came by the house. They have NEVER done this before and you can see that their faces are FULL of excitement for this new experience.
They waited and waited.... we could hear the music playing... but it was just taking forever to get to our street. It was still in the other neighborhood! Eventually we decided to get on our bikes and chaise it down. Which is actually better in the end, because the icecream lady won't know where we live, and so won't drive extra slowly by our house to taunt our children on future Saturdays.
