Maya's Fifth Birthday

Maya turned 5-years-old and we had a celebration for her on her birthday. She insisted on wearing a princess dress to the party (I don't think that will suprise anyone), and she set out her outfit 2 days prior, including all her accessories. She is a princess through and through!



Maya has always liked white cake and vanilla icecream but she surprised me with a chocolate carousel cake request this year. It was so tall, she had to stand on her chair to blow out the candles.

As Rochelle was leaving the party, she turned around and said "Maya you are such a beautiful princess!" Maya humbly replied, "I knew that you were going to say that."

After the party she enjoyed some Flamenco Dancing (thanks to grandma's gift from Spain), and some pretend play with her sisters and her new toys.
